Repeat jobs

Ask Weaver to do the same work every month, on a schedule, or on every new file in a folder. It saves the work as a job and does it again for you.

Save work as a job

Do the work once in a chat. Then say what should happen next time.

Do this every month when the new statement comes.
Every Monday at 10, make this summary from the newest sales file.
Whenever a new bill lands in this folder, add it to the register.

Weaver saves it and says Job saved under your message, with when it will run.

When Weaver offers

If you do the same work again on a later day with new data, Weaver asks whether to keep it, so it is done the same way next time.

What a job does each time

It finds the newest file, does the same steps, checks the numbers against the file, and saves the result. If something looks different, such as a renamed column or totals far from usual, it stops and asks you first. Every saved result has Undo.

Holidays

A schedule can skip public holidays in your country and run on the next working day instead.

While the app is closed

Jobs run while Dataweaver is open or in the tray. To keep scheduled jobs running when the app is closed, open Settings and, under Weaver, turn on Keep running automatic work when Dataweaver is closed.

Change, pause or stop

Ask Weaver in any chat: "pause the Monday summary", "stop watching this folder", or "what does the statement job do?".

A job never saves over a file you changed yourself. It saves its result beside your file instead.
