Clean a messy sheet

Exports from other systems arrive messy. Say what clean looks like. Weaver makes a clean copy and leaves your original alone.

Things you can ask for

• "Write every date as DD-MM-YYYY."
• "Remove rows that are exact duplicates."
• "Remove the spaces before and after every name."
• "Make Amount a number. Some cells have a ₹ sign and commas."
• "Split Full Name into First Name and Last Name."
• "Where State is written as 'TN', 'Tamilnadu' or 'Tamil Nadu', use 'Tamil Nadu'."
• "Delete rows where Email is empty."

You can ask for several at once. Weaver does them in order and tells you how many rows each one touched.

Check before you trust

Weaver reports the count for each change: "312 dates rewritten, 9 duplicates removed". If a count looks wrong, ask "show me the 9 duplicates" before you save anything.
