Read a folder of documents
Point Weaver at a folder of invoices, bills or agreements. Get one table with the fields you asked for, and every value linked to its page.
Steps
- File, then Open Folder. Choose the folder with the PDFs or photos.
- Tell Weaver which fields you want from each document.
- Wait. Weaver reads every page of every file. A folder of 40 invoices takes a few minutes.
Read every invoice in this folder. Give me one table with: file name, invoice number, invoice date, vendor name, GST amount, total amount.
What comes back
One row per document. Every value is a link to the page and line it came from. At the end, Weaver groups anything it could not read or was not sure about, by reason: "no GST line found", "total is unclear on a blurry scan". You review only those.
Good uses
- A month of vendor invoices into one sheet for the purchase register.
- Rent agreements: tenant, start date, end date, monthly rent, deposit, notice period.
- Bank statements from several accounts into one list of transactions.
- Insurance policies: policy number, insured name, sum insured, expiry date.
Documents stay on your computer. Weaver reads the text it needs to answer, with personal details replaced first. What leaves your computer has the full picture.
